Why I chose HTML5?
I'm excited about sharing my opinion related to what's going on in the
#indiedev industry and what the Arsil Games' future looks like.
Arsil Games started back in 2014 as a one-person project, so ensuring the games could be available in as many platforms as possible without having to be an expert on each platform's frameworks and languages were a crucial requirement.
So, I chose Construct 2 (an HTML5-based engine) as the tool to develop the games for the following reasons:
- Its ability of running projects in a web browser on a wide variety of different devices and operating systems.
- It has bet on HTML5 as the future of cross-platform software since 2011!
Thanks to this we have taken our games to the following platforms:
